A woman accused of chasing the family of Madeleine McCann

A woman who claimed that she was Madeleine McCan had appeared before the court on charges of four charges of chasing the family of the missing girl.

Julia Wandel, also known as Julia and Antillet, was arrested at Bristol Airport on Wednesday on the suspicion that the prosecution involves a dangerous and narrow warning.

Mrs. Wandel was originally detained from Poland, after appearing before the Magistrate Court in Leicester on Friday.

Court documents indicate that 23 -year -old is allegedly sending messages, leaving voice mail messages and attending the family home between January 3, 2024 and February 15, 2025.

The documents say that Mrs. Wandel claims that she went to Macanz’s house twice – on May 2 and December 7 – in addition to sending WhatsApp messages to Kate and Jerry McCann, and Instagram messages to her brothers.

They add behavior “had a great negative impact” on daily family activities “when you know or should know that the course of your behavior would lead to warning or distress.”

The disappearance of Madeleine McCann at the age of three in Portugal in 2007 is one of the most widely missing children in history and is still without a solution.

Mrs. Windal claimed that she was missing Madeleine McCann in an Instagram post in 2023, saying that she had “gaps in her memory” from childhood after being offended.

However, the claim was contradictory to the DNA test in 2023, which revealed it was from Poland, with some litigant and Roman heritage.

The Leicester Police said that a 60 -year -old woman from Wales, who was also arrested alongside Mrs. Wandel on suspicion of chasing, was released on bail.
