Boardy AI is raising $8 million over months after closing pre-funding
Months after its announcement $3 million pre-seedAI networking startup Boardy has returned with an $8 million seed round led by Creandum.
The company connects users with other people when they connect with an AI agent who talks to them for a bit and then connects them with others they think they should know. Since announcing its launch and soft launch in October, Andrew D’Souza, the company’s co-founder and CEO, said the company has made more than 10,000 phone calls, facilitated more than 9,000 calls, and helped startups make partnerships and investments.
D’Souza says what’s important about this $8 million round is that investors reached out to him organically after trying his product.
“They spoke with Purdy directly before speaking to me or anyone on the team,” D’Souza said when contacted via email.
Others on the tour include Andy Dunne, Leah Proske and Andrew Young.
