Homemade protein ice cream

We all know that the protein is important. Not only is the most satisfied Large nutrientsProtein is also a building block for our cells. It is important in the world of fitness/health because it can help us build muscles and keep them, which is very important with our age. We want to build and protect our muscles to help our bones and also protect our metabolism, because the muscles are “hungry” than fat and have high energy demand.

I tend to recommend about 1-2 grams of protein per pound of perfect body weight (depending on many factors, such as body composition, age, goals, favorite eating strategy, etc.), but I love to aim to get one meal in every meal and light meal.

This protein ice cream is a delicious and delicious dessert, which packs a wonderful protein meal. It is a great way to add a variety to your protein sources while enjoying a sweet treatment. I share the recipe with you today so that you can re -create it at home!

Is protein ice cream healthy?

This high protein ice cream recipe is a great healthy treatment, especially since this recipe includes some healthy fats (from coconut milk) and you can add any layer you want, including peanut butter, nuts or fruit. Please keep in mind that this should not be a substitute for traditional ice cream * real * if this is what you yearn for, but this is not another “” “ice cream” made of frozen banana as well. If you are eager to regular ice cream like Ben and Jerry’s and try to make this alternative, it will not fill the void for me. ๐Ÿ˜‰ You have some real deal, enjoy it, and move forward in your life.

However, if you already have the vibration of protein and you are looking to add another option packed to the protein to your day and want something to taste it like a sweet treatment, give this a spiral! You can eat it every day as part of a balanced plan that includes lean protein, smart carbohydrates and healthy fats.

Step 1

Make sure to freeze your ice cream maker! If not, get this day before making ice cream. You can also make ice cream in a loaf frying pan, but it will have a different texture.

Step 2

In a saucepan, add milk, chocolate chips, vanilla, and sea salt, and leave on low heat. Chocolate chips also melt, whisk in protein powder. Feft a spoon in the mixture (be sure to be cool before taste!) Add any sweetener you want as needed.

Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker (I love my Creamy Ninja) and turn on. It will take 20-30 minutes until it has a soft consistency. For more stable ice cream, put the mixture in a loaf frying pan and freeze for 3-4 hours. (You can also use a mixer or food processor in a pinch.)
