The American Prince Harry visa records must be issued, the rules of the judge
An American court ordered the necessity of publishing immigration files from Prince Harry on Tuesday.
Provincial judge Karl Nichols ordered the release of documents at the request of freedom of information (FOI) from the Heritage Foundation, a conservative American research reservoir in Washington, DC.
The Foundation claims that the prince has hidden his past drug use, which should have been unqualified to obtain an American visa.
The allegations on Duke Sussex’s claims focus on his memoirs, indicating that cocaine, marijuana and narcotic mushrooms are taken.
In the book, published in January 2023, Prince Harry wrote that he tried cocaine for the first time at the age of 17.
“It was not very fun, and it did not make me special in particular, as it seemed that he made everyone around me, but he made me feel different, and this was the main goal,” he added.
He also wrote about the use of marijuana, saying: “Cocaine did not do anything for me,” but “marijuana is different, it has already helped me.”
Applications for US visas apply specifically about current and past drug use.
Acceptance of drug use can lead to the rejection of unnamed visa requests and migrants, although immigration officers have a discretionary authority to make a final decision based on various factors.
The Heritage Foundation claims that Prince Harry is a lie about his use of drugs of the American immigration authorities, which can lead to a lifelong ban from the United States.
BBC called the White House and the Duke Office for comment.
The court ruling comes after a 2024 judgment By the same judge, who said there was not enough public interest in revealing the records of immigration Prince Harry.
The Heritage Foundation objected to this ruling and pushed to change the ruling.
Prince Harry moved to the United States with his wife Megan in 2020 after he stepped as a worker. It is not clear what visa he entered into the country, while the Duchess is an American citizen.
President Donald Trump previously excluded the deportation of Prince Harry in February, and he told the New York Post, “I will leave him alone … He faced enough problems with his wife. It’s terrible.”
Megan was a voice critic of Trump in the past, describing him as “hate for women.”
