US defense officials confirm the acceptance of the Qatar Air Force plane

The United States accepted a plane from Qatar, a gift that has caused criticism, including some of the most supporters of President Trump.

“Defense Secretary Boeing 747 from Qatar before all federal rules and regulations,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Barnell said in a statement on Wednesday.

The plane will need to be modified before using it as part of the Air Force One fleet – the official head of air transport.

The White House insists that the gift is legal, but the announcement of transportation a week ago caused great controversy.
