Witkoff Putin meets while Trump urges Russia to “move” to Ukraine

The US special envoy Steve Witkeov Vladimir Putin met on Friday, as Donald Trump urged Russian president to “move” to a ceasefire in Ukraine.

The third meeting of Witkoff with Putin will be this year, as the United States has failed to obtain Russia to agree to a full ceasefire with Ukraine.

Trump has previously expressed his frustration with Putin because of the state of talks, and on Friday wrote on social media: “Russia should move. Many people should [sic] He dies, thousands of weeks, in a terrible and meaningless war. ”

The meeting comes at a time when the United Kingdom and Germany hosted a group of Ukraine allies in Brussels, where 50 countries agreed to 21 billion euros (18.2 billion pounds) as military aid to Kev.
