West Bank celebrations of the return of the liberated Palestinian prisoner

BBC correspondent John Donnison in Ramallah witnessed Palestinian prisoners released by Israel being greeted by jubilant crowds in the West Bank.

Israel said it released 200 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday, but about 70 of them are scheduled to be deported.

Earlier, four Israeli hostages returned to Israel after Hamas handed them over to the Red Cross in Gaza City.

This is the second part of the Israeli hostage release and Palestinian prisoner exchange since the ceasefire was agreed earlier this month.
