Pope Francis to be accepted to the Rome Hospital for bronchitis, the Vatican says
The Vatican said that Pope Francis will be accepted to the hospital in Rome to undergo treatment and bronchitis tests.
A short statement said that the 88 -year -old will arrive at Jimili Hospital after his morning fans on Friday.
The Pope was exposed to the symptoms of bronchitis for several days and the authorization of officials to read his gastric sermons in recent events.
“This morning, after its fans, Pope Francis will be accepted in Agosto Jimili Policinic for necessary diagnostic tests and continuing the hospital treatment for continuous bronchitis,” the statement said.
On Wednesday, the Pope asked the priest to read part of his speech because of his difficulties in illness.
“Let me ask the priest to continue reading, because I can’t yet, with bronchitis. I hope I can this next time,” said the 88 -year -old shortly after the start of the speech.
He also asked the reading assistants on his behalf on Sunday’s Mass and in the public public last Wednesday.
Holding meetings at his residence in the Vatican last week in an attempt to rest and recover.
The Pope was treated from bronchitis in the same hospital in March 2023, and spent three nights there.
In December of the same year, he had to cancel his trip to the United Arab Emirates COP28 Climate Summit due to another seizure of the disease.
Argentine chamomile spent nearly 12 years as a leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
He suffered a number of health issues throughout his life, including a part of one of his lungs at the age of 21.
