Birdfy sees your smart bird feeder and creates a smart birdbath for you
Smart bird feeders are the rage of 2020. Smart bird baths are clearly where they are at. This week at CES 2025Birdify showcases the Bath Pro, taking inspiration from products like the Bird Buddy and applying it to a large dish of water with a solar-powered fountain in the middle.
Two versions of the product will be available when it goes on sale in March: a freestanding bath, priced at $250, and a stand-in bathtub, which raises the price another $50.
Finally, the product works similarly to products like Bird friend And Birdfy’s smart birdhouse. There are a pair of lenses on board: a 2-megapixel one capable of shooting 1080p video and a 3-megapixel one capable of shooting 2K video.
The system uses AI-based object detection to detect birds bathing and take a photo, which can then be accessed via the Birdfy app. The standard AI subscription comes with the pigeons and is free, though the company charges a monthly premium if you want the thing to actually identify species.
Birdfy also announced the Feeder 2 Duo at CES 2025, a $420 bird feeder that offers two different camera angles.
