Bluesky users can customize their notifications, including activity alerts from their favorite accounts

On Monday, Bluezki Declare Three updates to enhance notifications, allowing users to customize their experience as their notification center declines and reduce unnecessary alerts.

Updates include the ability to receive activity notifications for specific accounts, as well as options to control the notification of notification to control the alerts they receive. For example, users can only choose to notify them when some accounts are received.

Bluesky users can now move to settings and notifications to customize alerts for various reactions, including new followers, likes, responses, signals, quotes, and Sprects. There is also the option of “everything else”, which covers public notifications, such as when someone joins a starting package or verification alerts.

Each option can only be customized to the accounts they follow or everyone, and it can also be completely disabled.

In addition, users can now receive notifications when someone loves to republish it or re -publish it. This feature is especially useful for people who re -publish publications instead of creating original content, which helps them feel more involved.

Bluzki said the previous “priority” features have been replaced. This feature allowed users to liquidate notifications to receive only updates from the accounts they follow. To achieve the same result, users must change notifications, male, and quote to “people who only follow”.

The new activity feature is similar to those on platforms like X and Threads, allowing users to choose their notification when the account publishes something new or responds to the post.

To enable this feature, please visit a profile and press the bell icon next to the follow -up button to receive notifications every time the account publishes a new post. There is also a separate option for reply notifications.

Users can manage their activity notifications in the settings, remove accounts from their list if they no longer want to receive updates.

One of the warnings is that the accounts can disable this feature completely, which means that users may not be able to run activity notifications for each account they want to follow. Account owners can also enable activity notifications for people who follow them only.
