Russia launches a large -scale unmanned attack on Ukraine

Russia launched a large -scale attack on drones on Saturday evening, causing civilian losses across Ukraine.

Yuri Ignat, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said that the “record” of 267 Russian drones were launched in one coordinated attack.

Among them, 138 were intercepted by the air defense, while 119 of the radar disappeared after it was disturbed and did not cause any damage.

While many of them were caught, emergency services reported the drone strikes that caused destruction and fires in a number of areas overnight.

The strike comes one day before the third anniversary of the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

It is not clear how many people who died, but the initial numbers of emergency services indicate that there are at least three victims.

Two people died in a strike on a residential building in Jiusson, in southern Ukraine – a man and a twin mother, according to Ukrainian government emergency services.

Regional authorities also confirmed that one man had died and that at least three were injured after a strike in the central city of Kreifi Rier.

Meanwhile, a 53 -year -old woman was transferred to the hospital after she was injured in a drone in Zaporesvia, and firefighters were called to extinguish multiple fires in the capital, Kiev.

The mayor of Kiev Vitaly Citykko wrote about a telegram that multi -wave drone attacks on the capital have damaged many homes and cars, but there were no immediate reports on injuries.

The drones were intercepted in at least 13 areas including kharkiv, poltava, SUMY, KYIV, Chernihiv, MykolayIV and Odesa, according to the Ukrainian authorities.

The Ukrainian Air Force also stated that Russia launched three ballistic missiles overnight.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on Sunday that 20 Ukrainian drones launched in Russia “destroyed” overnight.
