Power is gradually restored through Langka’s Sri Lanka after the country’s power outage, including hospitals that have to rely on generators.

Officials say it may take a few hours to restore power throughout the island’s nation, but the priority of medical facilities and water purification plants has been given.

According to what the Energy Minister Kumara Jayakoudi blamed a monkey to cause energy reduction, saying that the animal continued “in contact with our network transformer, which causes an imbalance in the system,” according to Agence France -Presse.

Ceylon (CEB) said that the energy reduction was caused by an emergency in a sub -station, southern Colombo, and did not give any other details.

“The engineers are attending it to try to restore the service as soon as possible,” the minister said.

“We are doing our best to restore power outage at the island level as soon as possible,” CEB said.

Hospitals and companies across the 22 million people are the island that uses generators or transformers.
