The only survivor witnesses Ian Wilkenson
The only guest remaining the deadly beef lunch in the heart of a high -level Australian court said that he and his wife were “very happy” for an invitation to the gathering.
Ian Wilkenson left a serious illness after the meal, which led to the death of his wife and other relatives.
Eren Patterson – who was accused of killing three relatives and trying to kill another person, acknowledged that he was not guilty, and the defense team says she was “panicked” after the poison was unintentionally brought to the family members who loved them.
Three people died in the hospital in the days after the meal.
Among the victims were a couple from the former Mrs. Patterson, Don Patterson, 70, and Jil Patterson, 70, as well as the sister of Jill, Heather Wilkinson, 66.
Mr. Wilkenson, a local priest and Heather’s husband, survived weeks of hospital treatment.
He told the crowded court hall that Mrs. Patterson had painted “all foods”, which included mashed potatoes, green beans, beef and Landton.
“Everyone had an individual service, it was very similar to a pie,” he said. “It was the case of pastries and when we cut it, there was a slice of meat and candidate. It was completely pastry.”
Mr. Wilkenson also said that a generation and Hadr took four gray paintings with food and put them on the table, while Mrs. Patterson ate from a colored “orange” painting.
“Irene picked up the individual painting and carried it on the table. I took it to its place on the table.”
He was offered a picture of the dining room table on the iPad and was distinguished by the location of each of the five people at lunch.
He said that he and Heather “ate the entire meal,” while eating without his meal with half of the beef and the Negaton, which was not finished.
“There was a talk about couples who help their wives.”
When asked about his relationship with Mrs. Patterson: “I would like to say that our relationship was friendly, friendly. She did not have much depth. We were more like knowledge. We did not see much of each other.”
“I seemed to be an ordinary person for me,” he added. “When we met the things it was friendly. We had no arguments or conflicts. It looked like an ordinary person.”
“Heather had seen Irene more than me, I spoke to her more than me, but we did not consider that the relationship was close,” he said.
Mr. Wilkenson recalls that the invitation was sent to Heather Wilkenson in the church, a week or two.
“We were very happy with the call. It seemed that our relationship would be improving,” he said.
“We were very happy to accept it.”
The court was offered a copy of Mrs. Wilkenson’s notes, where she wrote, “Irene for lunch” with a pencil.
Written in blue ink: “12:00” – whom Mr. Wilkenson said is the time they would be captured by without the generation of Patterson. He said that another word “fruit” in the diaries indicates a fruit dish they were eating for lunch.
Mrs. Patterson sat, wearing a light pink striped shirt, as Mr. Wilkenson began his evidence.
Last week, her lawyer said there was no intention to harm anyone and the deaths were. As a result of a tragic accident – although many facts are not in a conflict and it is acceptable that it has lied several times on the police.
On Monday, the jury from a real group on Facebook heard that Mrs. Patterson was part of it.
One of the witnesses, Christine Hunt, was asked about Irene Patterson’s relationship with her scattered husband Simon.
The court told the phrase “control” and “forced” had been used by Mrs. Patterson.
Another member of the same group. Daniela Barclay told the court that Erine Patterson was “excited” to buy drought, and the jury has shown several common photos with the group, which showed drying the mushrooms on the metal shelves of the device.
In a text message before the court, Ms. Patterson said, “I was hiding the crushed mushrooms in everything” – including recipes like cakes so that her children could not tell them that they are eating it.
The court also heard that in July 2023, it asked the group to advise cooking beef and Lenton, a dish that was presented to the four guests in that deadly lunch later in the same month.
