Trump also warned in a social media post that the phone call, which lasted for more than an hour, would not “lead to an immediate peace.”

The two leaders also discussed Iran, and Putin suggested that it could help in nuclear talks with the country.

The conversation between the first two leaders since Ukraine has launched a bold attack that attracts attention on June 1, targeting long -term bombers that can nuclear weapons.

In his post, Trump said that Putin told him – “with great strength” – that he “would have to respond to the recent attacks on airports.”

Last week, Trump seemed to have set a two -week deadline for Putin, threatening to change how the United States responds to Russia if he believed Putin is still “clicking” on the peace effort in Ukraine.

The comment was one of Trump’s decisive notes, which he said earlier that Putin had become “completely crazy” and “playing with fire” when Russia intensified drones and missile attacks on targets in Ukraine.

Trump did not mention any deadline or his previous statements on Wednesday on his social platform.
