Hundreds of Dalai Lama followers in northern India gathered on the birthday of the spiritual spiritual leader, the spiritual Tibetan, amid an increasing expectation that he could give an idea of his successor in the end.

Dalai Lama is scheduled to issue a video and statement on Wednesday, as he told his BBC office, although there is no clarity about what he will say.

Dalai Lama fled the border to India in 1959 after a failed uprising against Chinese rule in Tibet.

He established a government in exile in the town of Daramsala in northern Indian, and it has been considered an alternative source of power for those who resent Beijing’s narrow control over Tibet.

On Sunday, the birthday of the teacher will precede the three -day religious conference, starting from Wednesday morning. The celebrations started on Monday – Dalai Lama’s birthday, according to the calendar of the Tibetan Moon.

The celebrations will attend more than 7,000 guests, including a number of Indian ministers. On Monday, the photos showed the actor Lama Baraka Hollywood Richard Gere, who has long been followers.

Al -Dalai Lama, who said earlier that he would launch details of his disagreement on his ninety birthday, at Monday’s gathering that “there will be a kind of framework through which we can talk about the continuation of the Dalai Lamas Foundation.” He did not explain.

In the past, the Nobel Peace Prize -winning president between Buddhism is torn if it will continue with the 600 -year -old institution. A few years ago, he said that his successor may be a girl, or that there may be no caliph at all.

But in recent years, he also said that if there is widespread support between the two Tibetan in exile – which is what it is – he will continue to do this and his office will choose a successor.

He has always insisted that his successor will be born outside China, which angered Beijing.

Although Dalai Lama has always called for the “middle road” to solve the state of Tibet – the real self -base in China – Beijing considers it as separatist. She says that the standard of living of people in Tibet has improved significantly according to its rule.

YouDon aukatsang, a Tibetan parliamentary deputy in exile, said he does not expect a “clear procedure” this week.

“I think everyone expects a kind of revelation of his holiness over its suitability. But I do not expect a specific type of revelation,” he told the BBC.

He said that the current Dalai Lama is a binding and unified force of the Tibetan movement. “Some Tibetan feel that someone should be recognized soon after behind it because they are concerned that there may be an impact on society and the movement to move forward.

“The Dalai Lama Foundation is very important for the Tibetan struggle. It is also a symbol of the Tibetan identity and a beacon for our spiritual sanctuary. It will continue. I think there will be a vacuum, but we have to continue, we have no choice,” he said.

“We have very big shoes to fill them but we have to fill them, right? I think many people will have to enter this role, one person will not be enough.”

However, experts say whether to announce a successor, it is expected that China will also name the Dalai Lama.

“China will argue that the only Chinese Communist Party in Beijing has the power to find the reincarnation of Dalai Lama,” Diph Anand, a professor of international relations at Westminster University, told the BBC.

“After a few months or a few years, they will have their own protrighes to determine a small boy as the next Dalai Lama and impose it. Of course, the majority of Tibetan will refuse that the majority of people in the world will make fun of it.

“Despite all these years of trying to control the hearts and minds of Tibet inside the Tibet,” it has “failed completely.”

He says, the Dalai Lama chose China “will not be recognized, not only by the Tibetan but the world will not recognize it because China does not have the legitimacy to find the future Dalai Lama.”

“We are worried, but we know that regardless of our interest, China will come to the Dalai Lama, and we will call it the Chinese -recognized Dalai Lama. I am not worried that the Dalai Lama will have any credibility in the Tibetan world or the Buddhist world.”

The Tibetan Buddhists believe that their adult monks are embodied and that the Dalai Lama is chosen by Buddhist officials if they are convinced that they choose the ports of his predecessor.

The present – 14 – Dalai Lama was born on July 6, 1935 in a small Tabtiyeh village in the farmers’ family and Lhamo Dhondub was named. When he was two years old, a research party from Buddhist officials realized that the former Dalai Lamas was reincarnated.

According to his official biography, government evidence came when officials showed him a number of property that belonged to his predecessor. The child identified the elements belonging to the XIII, saying: “It is my royal. It is mine.”

He was born before his age of four, and received his education in Deir al -Tabiti and has a doctorate in Buddhist philosophy.

But in 1950, when he was 15 years old, the newly installed communist government forces in Mao Zedong walked to Tibet. A year later, China set a 17 -point agreement that includes the merging of Tibet in China.

A Tabriya revolution was crushed in 1959, seeking to the extent of Chinese referee, killing thousands of demonstrators.

Dalai Lama fled to India on foot with 10,000 followers and settled in Daramsala, where it runs a government in exile from there. In 2011, he abandoned his political role but was still a spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism.

Some of those who fled next to him still dream of returning home to Tibet.

“My belief is that I will return to Tibet. If it is not, you will return the younger generations,” said Lubanang Shudon, 84, who attended Monday’s celebrations.

Shuudon’s daughter and her grandchildren were born – and spent their entire lives – in India. However, her 15 -year -old Ngawang Lhundup grandson feels deeply associated with his grandparents.

He has been listening to stories about Tibet since he was a child and said he would think about visiting Tibet, even though she was under Chinese rule.

“But if it is free from the Chinese invasion, I will be pleased to return to Tibet.”
