May Mobility unveils a self-driving electric minivan at CES 2025

May Mobility, an autonomous vehicle technology startup, was unveiled in Consumer Electronics Show 2025 The next vehicle in its portfolio: a self-driving electric minibus built in partnership with European electric bus manufacturer Tecnobus.

TechCrunch asked May Mobility how many of these buses it intends to add to its fleet and in which markets.

Today, the startup operates shuttle services with a driver behind the wheel in Arlington, Texas; Detroit, Michigan; and Grand Rapids, Minnesota, among others. The startup also has a presence in Japan, where NTT Telecommunications Company It agreed to license May’s technology to an autonomous aerial vehicle pilot in Nagoya.
